The Cleaning Company 'RETB' is a company that provides a great service. The problem is that there are many other companies and solutions that are competing in the same space. RETB needed to stand out and show potential customers exactly why their service was more desirable than all the others.

I am very satisfied with the collaboration and my new video. In just 14 days the video has resulted in 20% increase in revenue. This forced me to buy three new company cars and to only advertise 10 days at a time, in order to keep up with the increased demand.

CHALLENGES

At Onekeystory, we believe that the first steps are the most important. We spent a lot of time asking the right questions to ensure that we fully understood the company’s situation. RETB were struggling to differentiate themselves from other companies. We knew that an explainer video was a great choice to boost their exposure and show their value in a format that is fun and proven to work time and time again. We just needed to find their Onekeystory.

SOLUTION

With a strong brief now in place, our creative wheels started to turn. At the heart of everything we do is the Onekeystory, which is the most unique and compelling aspects of what makes a company special.

For RETB, who offer a cleaning service, it was the idea that each cleaner is carefully vetted by RETB and that you’d get the same cleaner next time, so the service would actually improve the more you use it. We felt that the idea of letting someone into your home is a hurdle for many people, and this story approach would reassure viewers.

RESULTS

Once we’ve cracked the Onekeystory, that’s when we move full steam ahead on production. We started scripting, which lead to a back and forth with the client as we refined the concept until it was perfect. At Onekeystory we do not proceed to the next step of production until our clients are 100% happy.

We then created a storyboard so that our clients could see how it would work together visually. Once again we collaborated to polish the storyboards until everyone was happy. You don’t have a lot of time with an explainer video (unless you’re doing it wrong) so everything needs to be carefully considered.

 

Then we started to bring the video to life with animation, voice over, music, and voice effects. All the time staying in close contact with RETB, who appreciated being kept in the loop every step of the way.

In the end we delivered an explainer video that we were proud of.

But would it do what RETB hoped?

In a word: yes.
In two words: hell yes!

14 days after the release of our explainer video, RETB had grown by 20%. The video was introducing new people to the brand, and these leads were being converted into sales.

RETB had to purchase three new company vehicles and completely redo their scheduling strategy to keep up with the demand generated by our video.
